Hey’re worth the trouble That is if Lola accepts Gray’s conditions Every time the twins misbehave it’s Lola who must take their punishment With every naughty infraction Lola gets and accepting of the penalties She has no idea just how bad a girl she can be or how much fun she’ll have getting what she deserves. Review courtesy of Dark Faerie Talesuick Dirty Too keep her troublesome nephews in football camp Lola lets Gray give her the punishment insteadOpening Sentence Now that is one hot male animal The ReviewThe Naughty Corner is a prime example of why I adore fictional writing and romance writing in particular It allows the reader to explore a world that we couldn t conceive of or a world so diverse from our own This book was that experience for meOur heroine Lola Cook is a single woman who has been given the responsibility of her nephews for a summer However she is also a woman with duties and commitments to her working profession This creates a perfect storm when the football camp she enrolled both of the boys in threatens to kick them out for lack of discipline and team spirit As a result Lola is keen to undertake anything so that she can continue to get her job done while ensuring the boys are supervisedEnter Gray Barnett who has been the football coach in part to stay close to his son following his divorce Gray has no desire to undertake the challenge of coaching the hooligans that are Lola s nephews without a little bit of repayment So he devises a plan that for every infraction or disobedience that occurs while in his care at the football camp Lola must take their punishment in a way suited to himNot sure if you have ever had to handle or manage this type of unruly and restless child but I have a couple of times and I can tell you that you deserve extra compensation Especially if the child or teenager constantly acts out So I can completely understand Gray s demand of compensationThere will be some of you that will not enjoy this book because of the BDSM flavor that does permeate the relationship between Gray and Lola And others will not enjoy the voyeur portion of this book and that is ok but I do believe that it does add to the story and isn t placed there in order to sensationalize the relationship but actually adds to the bond between Gray and LolaAs with any good story there is also an underlying threat which in this case is some phone calls and gifts that Lola receives after she starts seeing Gray The red herring s we are given are well placed and I m thankful that Haynes didn t use the typical stereotypes and make them the guilty partyIn addition I would like to give high praise to Haynes because these characters are not your typical 20 somethings but are in fact older Lola is 38 and Gray is 45 ish Thank you for creating characters that I enjoyed and delighted in reading in part because they were in my age rangeThis is a wonderful form of escapism for me over the weekend and I will definitely be keeping my eyes peeled for other books by Haynes If you are looking for this sort of book then I recommend it highly I d even be willing to spend time in The Naughty CornerNotable SceneHe glowered so darkly she though he d throw her out on her butt But suddenly he smiled a big white shark tooth smile I will let them stay on one condition Great Okay She couldn t keep the enthusiasm out of her voice Because honestly he wouldn t think of asking her to sleep with him Every time they misbehave and need to be disciplined he said softly I will discipline you in their stead Lola s mouth dropped openFTC Advisory BerkleyPenguin provided me with a copy of The Naughty Corner No goody bags sponsorships material connections or bribes were exchanged for my review

The Naughty Corner

Somebody’s been a bad girl Writer Lola Cook is on a deadline Meeting it gets twice as difficult when she finds herself in the unwelcome role of babysitter for her nephews Two months with the twin teenage terrors is too much for Lola until The Naughty PDF or she has a brilliant idea send the boys to football camp T. 35 stars great book but I wanted romanceJasmine Haynes books are always good just always This one was nice and long and kept my attention throughout the book even though it was not a very emotional read The one time that I got all choked up was when the cat went missing I had to keep reading but then that was resolved very uickly so just the way that this author writes can have me glued to my e reader she is that great as an authorThe characters in this book were funny sexy with an experienced outlook on life yet brought a freshness to the story This was because of the naughty parts of the book which were fun to read about The buildup to the sexy parts of this book were nil there was one conversation the first time they met where the H declared what he wanted and from then on it was almost as if the two of them knew each other better than shown in the book There was one gagging scene that made me want to look away because the H gags the h ties up her hands he was very much aware of her whole hearted participation yet did not give her some way to indicate a safe word I thought that was very odd It made my stomach churn a bit but all ended well Through the book there were moments where Gray and Lola were together but seemed like just moments in time once over were forgotten until the next one and so there was not much romance just one episode of kinky sex after another Very well written erotica no doubt but still lacking the connection that was suggested throughout the book At the end the crisis was dealt with almost too smoothly for the magnitude of the crime and once again that extra bit of romance was missing that would make me believe that these two would be happy together in a relationship Gray does not explain anything to Lola or console her in anyway and she is just as ready to brush off the issue It was strange that Gray and Lola were really falling in love and as grown up people were not able to even spend one night together once during the course of the book because they wanted it that way I would have been convinced of the love confession at the end if they were generous with each other outside of the kinky sex that they enjoyedSo for a long book written by one of my favorite authors this book had all lots of kinky naughty moments and great sex scenes yet lacked the emotion I was looking for in a romance
